Pablo PicassoMr. Koch sold Mary four Pablo Picasso drawings/painting, one pencil drawing, two ink drawings, and one painting. Suzanne has only seen and photographed three, and they are shown below. The one not photographed was described as a ink drawing of a beast. It was something that Mary wasn't comfortable with having.
Without going off track from the Picasso, remember Mary was visited by a Mr. Koch who sold her artwork at her flea market booth in Okeechobee, FL over several months and many visits. The other vendors at the flea market were becoming aware of these visits. Mary traded the drawing of the beast with another vendor at the flea market. Years later Mary heard that the vendor took the drawing to Sotheby's and it sold for over $150k.
There is a vendor that is still at the flea market today in her same booth #110. Her name is Barbara, and she was a witness to this man visiting and selling Mary artwork back in 1991/1992.
Over the years, Suzanne researched in depth each of the artists her mother had purchased. Below is Suzanne's research for the Pablo Picasso artwork.
