Not sure if it is a matter of you not believing the story being shared or just not knowing how to help. We are reaching out to you for your assistance. We hope that you spent some time researching the crimes involved that we are discussing.

When you read the news articles on the 1990 art heist and see the theories being reported, all of the theories are based on hearsay and authorities don't support the reported theories. Not only are these unproven theories reported on, but because they are reported is probably why most of you struggle with what we are presenting. Because you never see the art heist theories from Suzanne about Mary's encounters which are presented at TheArtworkStory.com (since 2010) in the news.

The theories presented by Suzanne at TheArtworkStory.com include facts with supporting documents.

They are just as worthy to be heard as the reported statements from mobsters or people whom deal with mobsters. Seems as if these mafia-mobster statements are the only statements the news wants to report on. Statements that can't be fact checked any better than the statements being made by Suzanne at TheArtworkStory.com.

Let's Review

Let's look at an art heist article dated December 1, 2021 by the DailyMail.co.uk (the DailyMail receives these emails too). The article is titled "REVEALED: Mobster criminal suspected of biggest unsolved art theft in US history - where $500M in treasures, including a Rembrandt, were taken - asked friend to appraise 'stolen' bronze eagle a year before his '91 murder" Click here to view the article

The DailyMail article is about a Paul Calantropo going to the FBI (around 2016) to report seeing Donati with the stolen bird finial in 1990. Calantropo didn't originally report this to authorities because his clients were mafia. So this made Calantropo basically an accomplice after the fact, correct?

A few comments after reading this news article:

First - According to the media, Bobby Donati and several of his buddies were each pre-paid $100k to do the heist. It was around a total of $500k supposedly paid to these mobsters to do this heist. If that is the case, why would Donati still be in possession of any of the artwork, why would he have buried it? Why would he have the bird finial? There are also claims Donati did the heist for leverage to get his buddy out of prison. But which is it? Him and several others were paid $100k each or they planned the heist for leverage? If it is for leverage why is he looking to pawn/sell the bird finial? The media reports such conflicting information and ignores Suzanne's theories totally.

Note: The 1991 James Bourlet & Sons Warehouse fire occurred 14 days after Donati was found murdered mafia style. It is reported that Frederick R. Koch had the most items damaged in this fire. If you read my other newsletters the fire was a result of a temper tantrum by Frederick R. Koch for the museum he was being denied creating in London. No one denies a billionaire. Billionaires also get away with large art crimes.

Second - The person that wrote a letter to the museum in 1994 stated the artwork was being stored in "archival conditions." That wouldn't be the wording one would think a mobster would use. Archival conditions would probably be the complete opposite of being buried in one's backyard. The letter came from New York and not the Boston area. The writer of the letter also had knowledge of international art laws. Frederick R. Koch had a home in New York. There is the State of Florida Department of Revenue 1980s document for Ed Koch with International Art Trading filed in Miami - just south of where Mary lived when these 1990s transactions occurred. Frederick R. Koch was a large art collector and definitely had the means and know how for storing things in "archival conditions".

Third - The authorities have a fingerprint from the flag's frame where the finial was stolen from and it isn't in the fingerprint database. Donati and all his buddies had been arrested and their fingerprints are in the database. In 2015 the FBI named George Reissfelder and Lenny DiMuzio (both of whom I am sure have been arrested). Both dead - dead men can't talk. Even the FBI is participating in the cover up. Not surprising. John Connolly - an American former FBI agent (ran the Boston FBI division) who was convicted of racketeering, obstruction of justice, and murder charges stemming from his relationship with James "Whitey" Bulger, Steve Flemmi, and the Winter Hill Gang. James "Whitey" Bulger even has supposed ties to the art heist.

I doubt the FBI ever ran Frederick Koch's or John Olsen's fingerprints.

Fourth - Donati doesn't look like either man in the FBI's sketch of the two men. But Frederick R. Koch bears resemblances to one of the men in the sketch. There are no photos of John Olsen to compare how he looks. Suzanne met with Robert Wittmann, a former FBI agent that specialized in art crimes, at an art event in Palm Beach, FL, in February 2012 and he had the Koch brothers (David, Charles, and William) there and she believes she saw John Olsen as well and swears he bears a resemblance to the 2nd man in the heist FBI sketch. Contact Robert Wittman and he can confirm this meeting - though he is participating in the cover up to. Along with Julian Radcliffe from the Art Loss Register in London.

Below is a known photo of Bobby Donati and Frederick R. Koch and the FBI sketch. Bobby Donati doesn't look like either man in the sketch. While Frederick R. Koch does have similarities to one of the men.

If the news actually reported Suzanne's theories, would others come forward with more information that could help solve not only this case but other art crime cases as well? One group might be Cambridge University and their stolen Charles Darwin notepads on the origins of life. Cambridge University got their drawings mysteriously returned. They 100% know who the thief is. Even they are protecting the criminal.

All the art heist theories the media reports on the FBI and museum won't respond to deny or confirm and yet the news still reports the unproven theories. Suzanne's theory and Mary's encounters deserve to be heard equally as the unproven ones being reported on. Isn't that called fair and balanced news reporting?

Suzanne's Theory

‌

Suzanne's theory comes from her mother's encounters and lots of research; knowing what she knows from her mother's encounters and what the media has reported on. Remember the heist was supposedly ordered by someone very wealthy. It is claimed the mobsters were paid at least $500k sometime in the late 1980s.

From her mother's encounters she had found the wealthy person and his questionable art behavior prior to ever discovering the art heist. Suzanne solved the art heist from the artwork sold to her mother Mary by Mr. Koch. So if you put together the story of Mary's encounters with a billionaire and with the media reports of the mobsters connection one could make the following theory:

The mobsters were paid to do the heist and the billionaire that hired them decided he shouldn't risk his precious artwork in the hands of the mobsters. Maybe the dealings started to go south before the heist. He might have grown concerned that they might decide they want more money once they are in possession of the artwork or some other concern of dealing with mobsters.

The billionaire that paid the mobsters was David Koch. When David grew concerned over dealing with the mafia mobsters. David had his brother William convince Frederick to do the heist. It was a way for William and Frederick to make right for the $300+ million Frederick (William received even more) had just received from suing brothers David and Charles. (read about it here) Frederick showed much remorse by visiting with and selling Mary artwork that is why the theory is he did the heist for someone else vs for himself. Including the letter written to the museum in 1994 in an attempt to return the artwork.

According to the media, the bird finial wasn't the target, it was the flag the finial was attached to. The flag of the first regiment of the Imperial Guard of Napoleon I. "They began removing screws for a frame displaying a Napoleonic flag, likely an effort to steal the flag. They appeared to have given up partway through.... (read about it here)

If Donati did in fact have the finial, a theory could be if the Koch brothers carried out the heist and didn't let the mobsters do the heist, the mobsters might not have been to happy their street cred would look bad if anyone found out they didn't do the heist - so one of the Koch brothers gave Donati the finial as a peace offering. Go show you have the finial and the streets will believe you did the heist. This method also keeps all investigative eyes on Donati and the billionaires worry less about being caught.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum ART Heist

March 18, 1990

In 2012, this 1990 crime was solved by Suzanne while researching her mother, Mary's, 1991/1992 art encounters. Suzanne reported her findings to the FBI in June 2012 and nine months later on March 18, 2013, the FBI announced they now know the names of the two men that did the heist, but refused to release the name of the billionaire - Frederick R. Koch and his companion, John Olsen.

James Bourlet and Sons Storage ART Fire

October 7, 1991

Most of the belongings in this fire were owned by Frederick R. Koch. The fire occurred 14 days after Robert Donati was discovered murdered. Mr. Donati was murdered because of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist. A few weeks after this fire, a Mr. Koch arrived in Mary's life and began teaching her about the art world. Which is shown in the notes written on Koch's visits with Mary.
