CPOP SOAPING.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CPOP stands for cold process\/oven process. It is pronounced CEE POP. CPOP soaping is the easiest to describe in my opinion. Its basically taking cold process soap in a mold and put it in an oven that you’ve let get to 170*. You leave it in the oven with the heat on for one hour, turn off the heat and leave it in the oven over night with the oven light on. I do not know what that last part is supposed to do as everything l have read on it says to do it. I have found that when l did attempt this method l could not unmold it the next day as it still was top soft and l waited two to three days before unmolding and cutting for the curing rack. This process is supposed to make it go through gel phase faster. This is the definition of gel phase: The gel phase of soap making is the heating stage of saponification<\/strong>. Once you pour your soap into its mold it will start to heat up. Gel phase starts with the soap turning translucent in the middle and then spreads out to the edges. … Colors can sometimes appear darker in gelled soap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
